communication process
During the preperation stages, and throughout the playing stages of each tournament, it will be neccessary to have various exchanges of information between you the players and us the organisers. In order to make the communication process as easy as possible for everyone, all players can choose to communicate with us by either email or post.
Email Communication
The most economic and efficient method of communicating (for you and us) during the tournaments is via email. Players can elect to use email to receive all of their tournament information and to return their match results to us. If you elect to choose email communication, you can expect to: -
| Receive email confirmation that your application has been accepted | |
| Receive the details for your match opponents | |
| Receive regular updates of the tournament leaderboards | |
| Receive a summary of the league results at the end of the tournament | |
| Send your match results to us via email |
Postal communication
Not all players have access to email and the internet. For these players, we have introduced this year for the first time an option to communicate by post. Players can elect to receive all of their tournament information and to return their match results to us by post. If you elect to choose postal communication, you can expect to: -
| Receive a letter confirming that your application has been accepted | |
| Receive the details for your match opponents | |
| Receive a summary of the league results at the end of the tournament | |
| Send your match results to us by post |
Please note that it will not be possible to send regular leaderboard updates via post.
