UK Championships Golf League 2006 Grand Final
Venue: The Old Course, Vilamoura, Portugal
Date: 18th and 19th October 2006
The 2006 Grand Final was held at the presigious Old Course in Vilamoura and proved to be a great stage to bring the first year of the tournament to a close. After the first day of the 2 day final played over a total of 36 holes, there was all to play for as just 2 points seperated the top 3 players.
However on day 2, Malcolm Crowson quickly broke away from the field on the front 9 to give himself a 5 shot lead at the turn and was ultimately awarded the title of National Champion 2006.
