
What is The uk championships GOLF LEAGUE?
It's a national, league based event that provides an opportunity for amateur golfers across the UK to compete in County and National level Championships without leaving their clubs' county to play matches.
There are 4 categories of tournament, and players can compete in both the singles and pairs tournaments in parallel.

Tournament Structure
Each of the four tournaments follow an identical structure, and are separated simply to provide individual tournaments for different categories of player.
Within each tournament there are 6 individual leagues. The leagues are designed to give every player multiple opportunities to make the leaderboard and the opportunity to compete in both Geographic and Handicap based divisions.
Each player is paired with 4 other competitors who belong to a club affiliated with the same County Union. Matches will be drawn at random by the organisers and each player will complete 2 home and 2 away matches over a period of approximately 14 weeks.

The scores from these matches are then entered into the County and National League tables, and the scores of the winners of each individual match are entered into the appropriate Winners League tables. There are 6 individual League tables in all, and it is possible for each player to reach the leaderboard in one or all of the 6 leagues.
