What is the National League?
It is a league table consisting of the match scores of all of the players in the tournament. The Men's Pairs, Men's Singles, Ladies Pairs and Ladies Singles tournaments, each have their own National League table.
The scores from the matches played within your County Union are entered into a handicap divisional national league where players from across the UK will compete against each other. This means that players can compete on a National level without having to leave their county union to play a match.
Because the National League is a handicap divisional league as opposed to a Geographic league (such as the County Union Leagues) every player has a chance to win at National level regardless of his or her success at County Union level.
There will be 4 handicap divisions for each National League.

Within each handicap division there are 3 winners (1st, 2nd, 3rd place). The winners will be the players with the highest average score within their handicap division after all games are complete.
